...It feels like there's all sorts of things I still need to learn here.

There always is... You learn one thing and uncover around twenty more.

Yes. And unlike others here, I'm not very familiar with... looking into details, or knowing what they might mean.

[She's educated enough to hold an office job, but the lack of knowledge outside of that has become horribly, painfully clear.]

I feel similarly. This place is not like a mystery novel where everything is neatly laid out to solve.

[ It also doesn't help that he's used to birds and human acting more straightforward in general. ]

But there has to be a way to learn to get better at those things, right?

Hmm... I'm not very good at it, so I can't really say much. Usually that sort of thing is done by practice? I know there's those who swear by things like observation diaries.

...Maybe solving puzzles?

Are there books with puzzles?

[libirdian]

There should be a few in the archives. I can pick out a few after we eat.

No problem. I hope they're interesting at least. A lot of puzzles tend to be trick questions.

Trick questions?

It's like...a question that tries to get you to remove a plausible solution from consideration. But I guess they can be good for making sure you don't let your assumptions gets the best of you.

Hmm...they want you to miss a detail so you try to solve the problem without it. Usually that makes your answer wrong.

Yes, but it does challenge you to pay attention, so it could be good practice, maybe?

That's true! And if I'm paying closer attention, it could be helpful while looking for clues!

Right. I'll try my best to work on my observational skills as well.
